SALON DU DESSIN 2008

From wesnesday 9th of April to sunday 13rd 12.00 a.m to 9.00 p.m. Evening reception on thrusday 10th till 10.OO

 

For the past 17 years collectors, curators and amateurs meet in Paris at the Salon du Dessin.
36 galleries (17 French - 19 International) among the best of the profession, will present about 1000 original drawings from the XVIth century to 1970. French, Italian, German, Flemish and English schools will be represented.
We invite you to the PALAIS DE LA BOURSE - Place de la Bourse - 75002 Paris, to discover this fair well-known in France and internationally for being the most important event for Old Masters Drawings.

Fees : 12 euros (catalogue offered) 6 euros only for students under 26 with student cards and underages.

 

SEMAINE DU DESSIN

For the ninth consecutive year especially after the success of las year, in partnership with about fifteen museums, la Semaine du Dessin will make it possible to the public to discover the treasures of these institutions : exhibitions and comments visits are exceptionally set up for the occasion.

IIIrd INTERNATIONAL LECTURES OF THE SALON DU DESSIN

Wesnesay 9th and thrusday 10th afternoons

 

For its seventeenth edition, Le Salon du Dessin organizes for the third time an international colloquium in the Palais Brongniart, on the even location of the Salon. An independent scientific committee, chaired by Mr. Pierre Rosenberg, honorary director of the museum of the Louvre, has chosen the speakers. Mr. Guilhem Scherf, curator in the department of the sculptures of the Museum of the Louvre, assures the publication and the general commissionership. The subject chosen for the event, " the Sculptor's drawing", promises to be fruitful.
