The Galerie Eric Coatalem, founded in 1986, is specialised in french and italien old master paintings, drawings and sculptures from the nineteenth to the twentieenth centuries. It presented in 1994 the first retrospective on Lubin Baugin ; in 1998 an important group of oil sketches of landscapes by George-Augustus Wallis, in september-october 2001 an exhibition of François Perrier and in november-december 2005, an exhibition of paintings from the seventeenth century.
 
Since 1994, the Galerie Eric Coatalem regularly participates to the Biennale des Antiquaires (Paris), to the International Fine Art Fair (New York) to the TEFAF, The European Fine Art Fair, (Maastricht) and to the Salon du Dessin (Paris).
