A third generation art dealer, Jean-Luc Baroni began his career in his father’s gallery in Florence in 1972. Ten years later he established his business in London entering into a joint venture with the Old Master dealers P&D Colnaghi. Mr Baroni enjoyed a successful partnership with Colnaghi for twenty years before recently establishing a private dealership under his own name.

Today, Jean-Luc Baroni continues to work as a dealer in Old and Modern Master Paintings and Drawings, holding regular exhibitions in his London gallery, complete with fully researched and illustrated catalogues. Mr Baroni also provides a consultancy service, advising clients on establishing and augmenting their private collections.
Whilst participating in a number of international art fairs, Jean-Luc Baroni is also involved in several vetting committees of Master drawings, and he is the current President of the vetting committee for Old Master Paintings at the Biennale des Antiquaires, Paris.

In 2006, Novella Baroni, eldest daughter of Jean-Luc, joined the business. She participates with enthusiasm and efficiency in the management of the gallery..
