La Galerie de la Scala was created in Paris in 1974 by Hélène Bucaille and Marie-Christine Carlioz. This year Emmanuel Marty de Cambiaire joined them. He shares with the two founders of the gallery their taste for old and XIXth century drawings and paintings.

However the trio’s “ curiosity” moves them to the works of XXth century artists and less known masters whom they may have become fond of. Real amateurs, beginner collectors, French and foreign museums are familiars of la Scala.
