Since its inception in Paris in 1998, Galerie Zlotowski has always been devoted to the Avant-garde movements of the beginning of the twentieth century, with a particular emphasis on Cubism and its followers.
Galerie Zlotowski has become a feature of the Parisian art market because of its dedication to searching for and exhibiting unusual and scarce cubist paintings and works on paper, organizing exhibitions of sometimes barely known artists, and publishing catalogues committed to the care of the best specialists.
The Galerie then added to its expertise a specialization into the painted work of Le Corbusier, and therefore works of the Avant-garde of the 50’ and the 60’.
Amongst other French fairs, Galerie Zlotowski has participated to Fiac this Autumn, with a show of Purist paintings by Ozenfant, Baumeister and Le Corbusier, Geometric Abstract works of the 20’ and 30’ by Moholy-Nagy, Hélion, Vordemberge-Gildewart and Kupka, and a stunning tapestry cartoon by Le Corbusier dated 1949.
The Galerie counts amongst its clients the Musée National d’Art Moderne – Centre Georges Pompidou – Paris, Fundación Telefonica – Madrid, Musée des Beaux Arts – Dijon, Musée Zervos – Vézelay, Fondation Le Corbusier – Paris….
