The Drawings of Erró and Buraglio

The Centre Pompidou (the National Museum of Modern Art) holds more than 17,000 works on paper. In this special presentation, two contemporary artists address the subject of renowned historical artworks. While the collages of Erró combine works by Ingres, Manet and Picasso with illustrations of the modern industrial world, Buraglio engages with the viewer's memory, questioning what we are able to remember about well-known masterpeices.
