Georges Dorignac, Bodies and Souls
At Musée de Montmartre - Jardins Renoir
From March 15 to September 8, 2019
The Musée de Montmartre presents the astonishing work of Georges Dorignac (1879-1925), and highlights in particular his striking "black" sheets that made his reputation.
With a remarkable expressive power, this series of contrasting patterns was greeted with enthusiasm by the artists, critics and collectors of the time. "Dorignac sculpts his drawings," Rodin declared.
